Do more with your island.

A club for guys aged 18 to 45. New experiences, proper mates, and a serious amount raised for local causes.

What's a Round Table?

A proper club for getting stuck in.

Round Table is a club for men aged 18 to 45. No politics, no religion, no stuffy committees you can't have a laugh in. We get together to try new things, put on cracking events, and raise a packet for Guernsey causes.

It started in Norwich in 1927, and there's been a Table on Guernsey since 1962. Today we're one club in a worldwide family of Tablers across 60+ countries, but everything we do stays close to home.

Proper friendships

Show up not knowing a soul, leave with a crew. The kind of mates that stick around long after the night's over.

Try-anything adventure

Karting, coasteering, brewery tours, the odd questionable idea. If it sounds fun, we'll give it a go.

Giving back

The events we run pour money and graft straight back into Guernsey: its clubs, causes and families.

Our motto, then and now
Adopt. Adapt. Improve.

What we get up to

One week it's go-karting, the next we're raising money for a family who needs it.

No two Tables look the same. Here's the gist of what a year with us looks like.

Events the whole island turns out for

From summer on the harbour to chestnuts in town at Christmas, we run the events that bring Guernsey together, and raise serious money while they're at it.

Socials & nights out

Nights out, sorted

Curry and a pint, quiz nights, five-a-side, the pub. A regular fixture all year round.

Try-anything

Stuff you'd never normally do

Coasteering off the cliffs, clay shooting, kayaking, karting, brewery and distillery tours. Someone suggests it, we make it happen.

What we run

The things we put on

A handful of events we run for the island, year in, year out.

Summer

Harbour Carnival

Our biggest day of the year: raft races, stalls, the duck race and a cracking fireworks display, right on St Peter Port harbour.

Autumn

Swimarathon

We help run the island's much-loved charity swim, with teams clocking up lengths for Guernsey good causes.

Winter

Christmas Chestnut Roast

A Guernsey institution: roasting chestnuts in town through December, with every penny going to charity.

St Peter Port Town

Plus regular socials and one-off fundraisers all year round.

Giving back

Help, right where it's needed.

Every penny we raise stays in Guernsey, and a lot of it goes straight to islanders going through a tough time. We're a registered charity in Guernsey (Guernsey Registry no. NP61).

It all stays local

Every pound raised on the island is given straight back to Guernsey people and causes.

Hands, not just cash

We turn up and graft: building, stewarding and organising, not just writing cheques.

Decades of it

Generations of Guernsey Tablers, quietly getting on with it.

Need a hand? Just ask.

If you, or someone you know on the island, is facing sudden hardship, a single parent who needs a fridge, a bed, a carpet, or a proper meal at Christmas, just get in touch. No lengthy forms and no red tape. If it's a worthy cause, we help: quickly, and right at the point of impact.

Get in touch
Do I need to know someone to come along?
Not at all. Most people rock up not knowing a soul, it's how nearly everyone starts. You'll be made to feel welcome from the off.
What does it cost?
It won't break the bank. There's a small annual membership, your first social is free, and we keep things cheap and cheerful. Ask us and we'll give you the exact figures.
How often do you meet?
A couple of times a month, evenings and weekends, usually around St Peter Port, plus the bigger events through the year. Come to as much or as little as suits you.
Is it just an excuse to go to the pub?
Sometimes, we'll be honest! But it's just as likely to be karting, a coast walk, event planning or a charity graft. A proper mix, something for everyone.
I'm over 45, or I'm a woman. Is there a place for me?
Round Table is for guys aged 18 to 45, but the wider family has clubs for everyone, including Ladies Circle for women. Get in touch and we'll point you the right way.
Right, what's with the donkey?
Guernsey folk are affectionately known as les ânes: donkeys. Stubborn, hardy and quietly proud of it. We couldn't think of a better mascot, so we gave him some shades.
